Mary Wilson

Mary is an experienced police officer having spent 18 years working in operational roles in response and community policing and has  several years supervisory experience of a large team managing ongoing, dynamic incidents and events. 

 

Mary joined the Police Scotland Cybercrime Harm Prevention team in 2021 and is an advocate for inclusion, diversity and breaking down perceived barriers to learning new skills. 

 

Her role involves engagement with all ages addressing a range of harms including personal and business resilience, ethical use of skills,  cryptocurrency, online scams, romance fraud, grooming, sextortion, technology assisted harmful behaviours, domestic abuse and online child exploitation.
