About the Charity
Citizens of Cyber was founded by dedicated Cyber Security Lecturers with decades of experience within the Digital and Cyber Security Sector.
The primary goal for Citizens of Cyber is to provide links across the cyber community and to engage with everyone, including children, parents, vulnerable adults and professionals, to help keep everyone safe online. The charity is continually working towards ensuring knowledge, resources and education are available to everyone.
About the Role
As a charity, we wouldn't be able to provide our services without the hard work of our volunteers. Volunteer opportunities will be advertised here and via our social media pages.
Requirements
Ensure that the Citizens of Cyber website (hosted by Wix) is always up to date, functional and accurate;
Perform updates and general maintenance on a regular basis (security patches etc.);
Coordinate and manage content updates to the website created by volunteers;
Advise on webpage design to ensure that content produced is displayed correctly and the website is accessible to those with additional needs;
Produce reports on how the website is performing and identify where performance can be improved;
Evaluate current SEO and how this can be improved through a variety of SEO techniques; and
Offer end-user support where required.
