About the Charity
Citizens of Cyber was founded by dedicated Cyber Security Lecturers with decades of experience within the Digital and Cyber Security Sector.
The primary goal for Citizens of Cyber is to provide links across the cyber community and to engage with everyone, including children, parents, vulnerable adults and professionals, to help keep everyone safe online. The charity is continually working towards ensuring knowledge, resources and education are available to everyone.
About the Role
As a charity, we wouldn't be able to provide our services without the hard work of our volunteers. Volunteer opportunities will be advertised here and via our social media pages.
Requirements
Ability to engage and support clients such as professionals, young people and vulnerable adults with a wide range of diverse needs;
Assist in the planning, monitoring, and management of the creation of training material;
Design and conduct effective training programs to a broad range of clients;
Assist in the preparation of educational/training materials to support training programs;
Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement;
Build relationships with a range of stakeholders across the children and young people’s workforce and beyond;
Liaise with Youth Engagement Officers, Volunteer Coordinator and Resource Developers regularly;
Facilitate opportunities and events to promote cyber awareness skills and provide the facilities to create an open forum to feedback into the development of Citizens of Cyber;
Train and support a range of stakeholders to develop sustainable and meaningful engagement activities for children and young people; and
Report back to the CEO and Board on a regular basis.
